Tequila Rose

Got a new bottle of Tequila Rose yesterday, thanks to mom treating me! Found it at Stew Leonard's Wines. I had never been there before, it is a nice store and fairly new. At the checkout I was even given two shot glasses with the tequila rose logo on them. I will definitely go back there.

I'm using the drink as a way to keep warmer in the winter months, one shot and I feel warm and it tastes great too. Had it a few years back when one of my neighbors let me try it.

Online there are lots of recipes I may try some over the winter months, especially a Pink Russian and Capt Crunch. I hope I can find the other ingredients in those little bottles because I can't afford the big ones.

Have a great Sunday, and if you are starting in on Thanksgiving cooking or baking, I hope it all comes out delicious!!!

After Thanksgiving and ACEO Theme Week

I hope you all have a nice Thanksgiving. I, unfortunately, was sick and missed going to my SILs and brothers. I heard all had a good time and that I was missed, which is nice to hear.

Once my raging headache went away and my stomach settled down, I tried to enjoy just sitting and doing nothing. which wasn't all that hard to do.

Monday, Dec. 1 is ACEO theme week on eBay (search: ACEO TW). This month's theme is Snow Globes. I haven't yet decided what to do, but I'm sure it will involve a rat or a cat or perhaps both.

I will sign off today with some of my newest ACEOs which can be viewed/bid on here:

Thanksgiving is coming

Turkey day is just around the corner. I did this ACEO (2.5"x3.5" art card) of a rat trying to help out a wild turkey. He is telling the turkey:

'Come with me if you want to live'.

I also have just listed the following two ACEOs, a rat bringing a dish of lasagna to Thanksgiving dinner at a relatives and a horse watching the antics of three fiesty little rats.

View my other art on eBay here.

My art is done mostly in colored pencil with gouache (an opaque watercolor) and pastels.
