ACEO art for Easter and Ice Skating (falling really)

It is a beautiful day here in the northeast part of NJ. Hope you are enjoying nice weather where ever you are from.

Little Missy just isn't getting the hang of ice skating. She's taken a few falls and spends more time falling than skating.

This is Rosa, who made a nice chocolate bunny for Randy and is trying to figure out how to wrap it.

And this is Randy, who is on his way to visit Rosa with an Easter Basket, and hopes he can get there without eating the chocolate rabbit.

And this little rat was the butt of a joke, she was given a raw egg to decorate, and when she was finished they knocked it out of her hand.

Thanks for stopping by.

Another NFAC ACEO

I have done one more NFAC entry featuring a panda bear and a rat eating bamboo. I was looking around for inspiration and spied the Panda statue in my showcase and thought it would be cute to give him a rattie friend to have lunch with.

And since Easter is coming I just had to do a bunny and rat ACEO.

I am working on some more Easter ACEOs today.

Thanks for reading my blog!

Mid-March update

Hello all, as promised, here is another update that is posted pretty quick for me.

Yesterday, March 20, was the start of NFAC on eBay. The theme this month is 'Asian Inspired' and who is more inspiring than Bruce Lee? This rattie just loves to pretend he is the great Bruce Lee while he practices with his nunchucks.

Also coming soon is Easter, and this rattie is all ready with her pretty Easter egg she decorated all by herself. And Ms Rattie's (and mine also) sign that spring has arrived is the crocus, which has bloomed. Being the generous sort, Ms Rattie has picked some crocus to give to the neighborhood kitty, who doesn't look all that interested in her generous gift.

Although Spring has officially arrived it is cold here in the Northeast US. We even had snow flurries yesterday.

I also signed up for Facebook finally. I am not sure what I am doing yet, but am findable under my name, Kathy Clemente or KMCoriginals. I have two linked pages and one can have friends and the other fans. If you can find me be sure to say hello.

Is it spring yet??

Hello all (waves to Gail and Dru). There was a big snowstorm in these parts on Sunday night. I hadn't watched the news all day, and there was just about an inch late at night, so I was surprised to wake up to a bunch of snow. I had done this ACEO on Sunday and thought the snow in it was exaggerated, but it turned out to be a self fulfilling prophecy.

I hope the snow doesn't hurt my crocus, which were just coming up, they were about a quarter inch tall. I usually don't notice them until there are a bunch, but I am so sick of this winter, I am looking for any sign of spring. (I do reserve the right to bitch about summer and say I can't wait for the colder weather.)

It is ACEO theme week time on eBay again. This month the theme is Caterpillars, Butterflies and Ladybugs. In my research I came across a Hickory Horned Devil Caterpillar, which I found to be quite unique. I love the 'horns' coming out of his head. (Reminds me of an axolotl.) He hasn't gotten a bid yet so I guess I am the only one who finds him handsome. haha. You be the judge:

I didn't post about the NFAC (NibbleFest Art Contest) last month but better late than never. The theme was Vintage Cats, so I dressed my Beanie up in proper 50's fashion, pearls and gloves. I, along with two other artists, came in first place with 9 unique bids.

I do hope to post more regularly this month. Thanks for stopping by!
