My March update!

Wow, it's March already! The weather has been yucky here in NJ but spring is just around the corner, I keep checking for crocus, my sign that spring has sprung! At least the snow they kept yappin about hasn't shown up, just a few errant flakes, hip hip hooray! I am just so ready for the warmer weather. I love the few days a year when the temperature is just right, not too hot or cold and you can be driving without the heat or ac on, and the sun warms you. ahhh

I have been painting a lot more these days, yay!! Here are my newest paintings, done in gouache. Click on pictures to go to eBay auction. Well, off to paint some more.

Hello, I haven't blogged in quite a while! Shame on me, but it was a crazy year I am going to try and do better this year, at least once a month. I've been painting and listing on eBay. It's been a while!

Hello, I hope some of you check to see what I've been doing even though it's been quite a long time. A lot of things have been going on and are just starting to settle down. I even managed to finish a painting today! I will be listing it on eBay tonight. I have been keeping up with eBay, but just with my laminated bookmarks.

This painting was supposed to be done in time for Nibblefest last month, but needless to say I didn't get it finished. I am hoping to get one done for this month, the theme is horses.

I am going to get back to my painting routine this month and will have new stuff listed more regularly.

Irene and NFAC

Nibblefest (NFAC) is ending tonight. The theme was 'On the Farm' so I did a city rat visiting the country and finding a little piglet to talk to.

Right now I am listening to the rain and hoping that Irene the hurricane will not be too bad. I am so dreading the wind and have battened down the hatches as best I can.

I am also hoping I don't lose power but kinda expect I will. Can't wait for this to pass by!

Two new paintings

Hello all, I have two new paintings to post this evening. One of a kitty and pigeon, and another of a rat in Blairstown with a Jason mask. My niece lives in the area, so it inspired the painting and I thought I'd give it a Jason flair, although I will admit I have never seen the movies. I'm not into scary slasher flix, although I don't mind reading science fiction, some of my favorite books are Relic and The Ice Limit by Preston and Child and Impact by Preston. Right now I am listening my way through Scott Sigler's Podcast books.

Well since I did mention paintings it would be nice to see them about now. And lo and behold, here they are:

I hope you enjoy looking at these, I sure enjoyed painting them. I am going to be working on a rats on vacation series.
